Has anyone been following this show in BBCA? I have and I enjoy it very much. BBCA broadcasts it at 7 pm as they just finished up with Ashes to Ashes series 2. Demons stars Phillip Glenister, from Ashes to Ashes and Life on Mars, and he is quickly becoming my favorite BBC television male star. His brother Robert acts with Rovert Vaughn (does anyone remember Man From UNCLE which also starred David McCallum?) in Hustle which is available on Netflix.

Hey, Flower Child, I tried to watch the first series (and I don't know if a second series has been commissioned; I don't think so), but I couldn't get into it. I do like Philip Glenister, but I think Hugh Bonneville would be my choice. :)

Katy--I LOVE the type of shows that explore the paranormal and whatever is psychic. Medium is my favorite US TV show, followed by Mad Men and Weeds, although the last two are far from paranormal. I like Hugh Bonneville also but PG is my man. I think it's because of the cynical, gruff personalities he gives to his characters, the most famous being Gene Hunt. PG has written a book called "Things Ain't What They Used To Be" available in paperback from Amazon. It was published in 2009 by Sphere, ISBN 978-0-7515-4206-6. I HIGHLY recommend it as it is funny and thought provoking. Take care and hang in there!

Thank you for the recommendation.

I like some of the paranormal and metaphysical TV shows. I'm old skool (now) in that I was a big X-Files fan. But of the current TV shows, I follow Fringe, Eureka (does this one count?), Warehouse 13 and of course, Doctor Who. I am a recent convert to Doctor Who. I just got in to it when David Tennant was the Doctor.

Katy-too bad you're not following Demons as it has become more interesting to know that Mina, the blind pianist, is a vampire. She was in Bram Stoker's Dracula. I just wanted to clue you in. btw I have a sizeable collection of science fiction and horror flix going back to the silent era. It's interesting to see how visual, and later sound, effects have evolved; notably before the computer age. Take care and cheers!

I'm glad that you are enjoying it. It also sounds like you have an impression collection.
